APGA Celebrates Soludo’s Re-election, Promises Continued Progress for Anambra
The All Progressives Grand Alliance has congratulated Governor Charles Soludo on his re-election victory.
The party hailed the win as a historic endorsement of his leadership and APGA’s vision for Anambra.
The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has congratulated Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo on his decisive re-election victory in the November 8, 2025 Anambra State Governorship Election.

In a statement released on Sunday by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Ejimofor Opara, APGA described the result as a “resounding and historic victory,” noting that Soludo won 73 percent of total votes cast and secured wins in 98 percent of the 326 electoral wards across the state.
Opara said the outcome reflected the people’s confidence in the governor’s leadership style, reforms, and his vision for a prosperous and livable Anambra. He stated that the triumph went beyond politics, representing “a referendum on performance and a reaffirmation of APGA as the true identity of Ndi Igbo.”
He commended security agencies for maintaining order throughout the election, saying their professionalism ensured a peaceful atmosphere across the state. The party also expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for supporting a credible and fair process that allowed the people’s will to prevail.
The APGA spokesman praised the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for organizing what he called “a transparent and credible election” that upheld the principles of democracy.
However, the party mourned the death of its member, Mr. Francis Onyeka Ibe, a councilor of Owerre-Ezukala and leader of the Orumba South Council, who was killed by gunmen shortly after voting.
“As Governor Soludo begins his second term, APGA remains committed to promoting effective governance, strengthening institutions, expanding economic opportunities, and securing a better future for all Anambra citizens,” the statement added.
The party concluded that Soludo’s re-election marks a new phase for the state, promising continued progress and unity under APGA’s leadership.
