McGregor and Dee Devlin Plan Private Wedding in Rome After Five Years of Engagement
Conor McGregor and Dee Devlin are planning a quiet wedding in Rome before Christmas.
They are arranging an intimate ceremony near the Vatican as they finalize long-awaited marriage plans.
Former MMA star Conor McGregor and his long-time partner, Dee Devlin, are preparing for a quiet wedding in Rome, according to reports from those close to the family. McGregor, 37, and Devlin, 38, have been together for about 16 years and got engaged more than five years ago. Now, the couple is said to be finalizing plans to officially become husband and wife before the year ends.

Sources revealed that the pair are arranging an intimate ceremony in Rome, with hopes of holding it near St Peter’s Basilica. Although they once dreamed of exchanging vows inside the famous Sistine Chapel, that option is not possible because the Vatican does not permit weddings there. They are now considering a nearby chapel that can host around 100 guests.
A source who spoke with ‘The Mirror’ said the couple “want to get married before Christmas” and have been looking at Vatican locations that reflect their strong Catholic background. The person added that December 12 has been mentioned as the likely date, although plans are being kept very quiet for now.
McGregor and Devlin share four children, one daughter and three sons, and live together in Straffan, a peaceful village in Ireland.
