A rising Florida TikTok creator has died after a late-night dispute with her boyfriend.

Police say the argument turned deadly, leading to her death and the arrest of the suspect.

A young Florida woman known online as Girlalala has been k!lled following a violent altercation with her boyfriend, according to authorities in Broward County.

The social media personality, who had a growing presence on TikTok, died over the weekend after what police described as a dispute that turned deadly.

The Broward Sheriff’s Office reported that deputies were called to Lauderdale Lakes on Friday night. When they arrived, they found Girlalala in the passenger seat of a vehicle with gunshot wounds. She was taken to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment but was later pronounced dead.

Investigators said her boyfriend, Shanoyd Whyte Jr., was arrested at the scene shortly after officers arrived. Police believe the couple had been arguing inside his car when the situation escalated. A firearm was recovered as part of the investigation, and Whyte Jr. has been charged with first-degree murder.

Girlalala was well known within South Florida’s transgender community and had built a loyal following on TikTok. She often posted videos of herself rapping and lip-syncing to songs by JT of the City Girls, one of her favorite artists. Her content had earned her a strong online presence and support from fans across the region.

Following the news of her death, a GoFundMe account was created to assist her family with funeral expenses. JT, who had been frequently tagged in Girlalala’s videos, donated $5,000 to the fundraiser. The contribution drew attention to the campaign and highlighted the close connection between the young woman and the music she loved.

The investigation into her death is ongoing as authorities gather more details about what led to the tragic incident.
