Nigerian singer Ayra Starr has achieved a major milestone by becoming the first African female artist to reach 5 million followers on Spotify.
The Rush hitmaker recently crossed the 5 million mark, making her the most followed African female act on the streaming platform.
Despite this feat, she still ranks behind Tems in terms of total streams. Ayra Starr currently boasts 2.7 billion streams across all credits, while Tems leads with 3.8 billion streams.
Ayra Starr’s most streamed track overall is Santa, with over 707 million streams. Rush, remains her highest-streaming lead with more than 474 million streams on the platform.
