Afrobeats star Stanley Omah Didia, popularly known as Omah Lay, has praised himself, by calling himself the top artist of his generation.
In a recent post on his official X handle, the singer made a bold statement about his place in music.
He wrote:
“Hi guys! My name is Omah Lay and I am the greatest of my generation. I don’t have proofs right now but there will be a lot in the future. Thanks. Yours truly, Boy Alone.”
This isn’t the first time Omah Lay has spoken highly of his talent and future. In 2023, he shared a similar belief in his rising status within the Afrobeats scene.
During an interview on The Beat FM in London, the singer said he was working on a “new sound” that he hoped would stand out and influence the next wave of Afrobeats artists.
