Governor Eno Praises Tinubu’s Economic Reforms, Highlights Gains for South-South States
Governor Umo Eno hails President Tinubu’s reforms, says they are transforming the South-South economy.
He affirms Akwa Ibom’s growth is on track, with ongoing projects bringing real community impact.
Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno, has once again commended President Bola Tinubu for his economic reform policies, describing them as courageous steps that are already making a significant difference across the South-South region.

Governor Eno made the remarks on Saturday while addressing journalists at the Hilltop Mansion in Uyo, shortly after returning from the All Progressives Congress (APC) South-South Summit.
“I have never hidden my love for the President. He has brought up remarkable reforms to grow the nation’s economy. He has supported us in the South-South to implement our laudable projects,” he said.
The governor expressed optimism about the nation’s economic trajectory, noting that the ongoing reforms are beginning to yield positive results. “Our nation’s economy is turning around. I believe that in the next couple of months, we will begin to see the dividends,” he added.
Governor Eno also highlighted progress in Akwa Ibom, pointing to steady economic growth driven by various development initiatives. He noted that the state government is focused on impactful projects and ensuring they are completed on schedule for the benefit of the people.
“We are pursuing and doing our projects. We have finished our two-day project review meeting. The ship of the State is perfectly on course,” he stated.
Speaking further on the APC South-South Summit, the governor described the gathering as engaging and valuable, particularly for new members of the party. He said the event created space for meaningful dialogue between stakeholders from across the region and helped align efforts toward collective development.
