Atiku Abubakar Meets Adamawa ADC Leaders in Abuja (Photos)

Atiku meets ADC leaders in Abuja to discuss governance and Nigeria’s evolving political climate.

Talks hint at future alliances as ADC mobilizes ahead of 2027 election challenges.

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar on Monday received a delegation of top officials from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Adamawa State at his Abuja residence.

The delegation was led by the ADC State Chairman, Hon. Adamu Shehu Yuhanna, and also included the party’s 2023 governorship candidate, Alhaji Usman Muhammed Shuwa, along with the State Legal Adviser, Hassan Ahmadu Har. The meeting was aimed at discussing the current political atmosphere in the country and mapping out strategies for improved governance.

According to a Facebook post shared by Atiku’s media team, the group deliberated on ways to strengthen democracy and promote development in Adamawa and Nigeria at large.

This engagement is said to be part of wider political moves by the ADC to form a coalition capable of challenging the Bola Tinubu-led government in the 2027 elections. The ADC has reportedly stepped up mobilization efforts in states like Adamawa and Gombe ahead of this political realignment.
