TBoss Calls for Chemical Castration of Rapists and Child Abusers in Nigeria
TBoss backs chemical castration for rapists, urges Nigerian lawmakers to follow Italy’s example.
The reality star says stricter punishment is needed to protect victims and deter future offenders.
Former Big Brother Naija star, Tokunbo Idowu, popularly known as TBoss, has called on Nigerian authorities to introduce chemical castration as a punishment for rapists and child abusers.
The reality TV star made the call through a post shared on her Instagram page, where she endorsed a recent move by the Italian government under Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni to adopt stricter measures against violent sex offenders.
According to reports, Italian lawmakers had approved the creation of a committee in September to begin drafting a bill that would legalise the use of androgen-blocking drugs as a form of treatment for high-risk offenders.
Reacting to the development, TBoss reposted the news and added a brief caption supporting similar action in Nigeria.
She wrote: “Agreed. Nigeria should be next.”
