Dwight Howard’s Wife Amy Luciani Files for Divorce Six Months After Marriage
Amy Luciani has filed for divorce from NBA star Dwight Howard just six months after their wedding.
She cited an irreparable breakdown and is seeking alimony and fair asset division in Georgia court.
Amy Luciani, wife of NBA star Dwight Howard, has filed for divorce just six months after the couple tied the knot, citing an irreparable breakdown in their relationship.

The pair tied the knot on January 11, 2025, just weeks after announcing a surprise engagement in December 2024. Court documents obtained by TMZ reveal that Luciani filed for divorce on July 1 in Georgia, citing the marriage as “irretrievably broken” with “no prospects for reconciliation.”
In her court filing, Luciani is requesting alimony and a fair division of the couple’s marital assets.
Not long ago, Luciani publicly defended Howard amid criticism about his role as a father, standing by him during a period of intense scrutiny. Her support had been seen as a sign of deep commitment to their relationship, especially as she addressed the backlash head-on.
Despite that show of loyalty, their union now appears to have come to a definitive end.
