Terry G Speaks Out on Claims of Hijacking ‘Pass Me Your Love’ from AY.Com

Terry G has broken his silence on claims he stole AY.Com’s 2009 hit ‘Pass Me Your Love’.

He dismissed the accusations as ignorant, insisting it was a clear-cut collaboration, not theft.

Nigerian singer and producer Terry G has finally responded to long-standing claims that he stole the 2009 hit song ‘Pass Me Your Love’ from fellow artist AY.Com.

The controversy stems from Terry G’s consistent performances of the track originally owned by AY.Com and featuring Terry G which critics say gave the impression that he had taken over the song. Many accused Terry G of overshadowing AY.Com and reaping benefits from a song that wasn’t his.

Responding to the issue on his official X account, Terry G brushed off the accusations, describing them as “pure ignorance.”

“To those saying I stole ‘Pass Me Your Love’ from AY.Com, that’s pure ignorance,” he wrote. “So I don’t have the right to perform a song I collaborated on? Your favorite artists do it all the time, but when it’s me, it becomes a problem. Hypocrisy at its finest.”

Terry G stressed that he never added the song to any of his albums and insisted the collaboration had always been clear-cut not a question of ownership.

He also pushed back on claims that he dimmed AY.Com’s spotlight, saying, “Some of you ruined AY’s moment with your noise, not me. As for my shine, nobody can block it. You no reach.”

In a blunt conclusion, Terry G suggested that the controversy surrounding the track not his actions may have contributed to the decline of AY.Com’s music career.
