Uche Maduagwu urges May Edochie to stop her fans from insulting Yul, citing moral obligation.
He questions her silence and continued use of the Edochie name despite their marital separation.
Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu has publicly called out May Edochie, telling her to address and put an end the online insults directed at her estranged husband, Yul Edochie.
Taking to Instagram, Maduagwu questioned May’s continued silence, suggesting that her refusal to speak out might be seen as silent approval of the negative comments.
According to him, while May may not be able to control everything her supporters say online, she has a moral responsibility to call for restraint, especially since she remains legally married to Yul.
In his words: “The May nation knows that their Queen May is still legally married to Yul Edochie, yet they come online and ridicule him, insult him and say rubbish about his family name on social media, is that a respect to una Queen May? Make una fear God.”
He continued:
“And honestly I don’t blame those people for ridiculing Yul Edochie. I blame Queen May because you know that you are still legally married to this man, yet some people gathered together on social media to be insulting, ridiculing and talking bad about your husband and you have never for one day made a post and said please don’t insult him. He is still my husband we are not legally divorced.”
Maduagwu also questioned May’s decision to keep the Edochie surname despite the separation, adding:
“If you know you are not willing to tell all those your fans to stop insulting your husband, you have to remove that name because some people are saying it’s the Edochie name that is giving you favor and endorsement. Infact I challenge you Queen May prove to Nigerians that you’re a Christian woman and you respect your legally married husband, tell your fans to stop ridiculing him.”
