Tension is building around Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo after a group of area boys stormed the streets in protest, accusing her of meddling in the ongoing investigation into the death of singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.
In a viral video making the rounds online, over six young men were seen holding placards and chanting angrily. They displayed large photos of Iyabo Ojo, Mohbad, and his wife Wunmi, with one placard boldly reading: “E no go beta for Iyabo Ojo.” The group cursed and called her out for what they described as unwelcome involvement in the case.
The protest comes on the heels of recent remarks by prominent lawyer Emeka Ugwuonye, who alleged that certain unnamed individuals may be plotting against Iyabo. Ugwuonye, known for representing May Edochie in another high-profile case, publicly offered legal guidance to the actress advice many fans now urge her to take seriously in light of growing hostility.
