Thomas Sule, the Chief Executive Officer of Glosskode Limited, was celebrated for his impactful contributions to technology at the 2025 edition of Africa’s Illustrious Awards held on Sunday at the Oriental Hotels, Lagos.
He received the Award of Excellence for his pioneering leadership in deploying tech-driven solutions across key sectors such as telecommunications, digital health, and security. The high-profile event recognized outstanding figures from various industries and drew notable guests, including Assistant Inspector General of Police Fayoade, Nollywood actor Charles Okocha, veteran comedian Ali Baba, and football star Odion Ighalo.
Sule’s recognition stemmed from his work in spearheading innovations that address pressing societal challenges across African communities. Through Glosskode Limited, he has overseen the development of initiatives like ‘GlossCare’, a telemedicine service designed to enhance healthcare access in remote and underserved areas and a digital anti-kidnapping tool focused on improving community safety and emergency response.
In his acceptance speech, Sule emphasized collaboration as a central part of his journey. “This award is not just about me,” he said. “It is about the teams, the vision, and the belief that technology can help solve real problems across Africa.”
The award organizers praised Sule’s ongoing commitment to using innovation for the collective good, citing his strategic deployment of digital tools in both public and private domains.
