Prophet Joel Ogebe burned a cheque given to him after ministering at a church event.
He said he sought spiritual impartation over money, calling the moment divine and unforgettable.
Sounds of Salem’s Prophet, Prophet Joel Ogebe disclosed that he decided to burned a cheque given to him at The African Praise Experience (TAPE) Overflow 2025.
The event, which took place on Sunday, July 13, at the House on the Rock Church, in Lagos, featured gospel ministers such as Bidemi Olaoba, Nathaniel Bassey, and Sounds of Salem.
In a viral video, Ogebe shared how he was invited as a minister at TAPE, at House on the Rock Church. He explained that even though the church, led by Pastor Paul Adefarasin, wanted to appreciate them with a cheque. He chose not to cash the cheque, and so placed it somewhere to be burnt.
