Portable Rejects ₦120m Boxing Offer, Demands ₦1 Billion to Face VeryDarkMan
Portable has rejected a ₦120 million boxing offer to fight VeryDarkMan, demanding ₦1 billion instead.
He boasted about fan gifts and vowed to defeat the activist if the price is right.
Nigerian singer and record label boss, Portable, has declined a ₦120 million offer to participate in a boxing match against outspoken activist VeryDarkMan, stating he won’t step into the ring for anything less than ₦1 billion.
In a video shared on X, he dismissed the offer as too small, claiming that his fans regularly gift him more than ₦100 million.
“I don collect money wey pass ₦20 million, my fans dey give me. The ₦100 million my fans dey give me. ₦100 million small for me to fight VeryDarkMan. Make them give me ₦1 billion,” he said.
Portable added that if someone is willing to offer ₦1 billion, he would take the fight seriously and defeat VeryDarkMan before even resorting to “juju.”
The statement comes in response to talent manager Soso Soberekon’s viral proposal of a ₦120 million prize ₦100 million for the winner and ₦20 million for the loser to stage a boxing bout between the two internet sensations.
Portable also mocked those behind the idea, suggesting they were afraid of VeryDarkMan themselves.
