He insists his conscience is clear and slams critic Verydarkman for spreading false accusations.
Nollywood actor Jigan Baba Oja has reacted strongly to claims by social media critic Verydarkman, who alleged that he and other celebrities were part of a secret WhatsApp group aimed at obstructing the campaign for justice in the case of late singer Mohbad.
The controversy began when Verydarkman publicly accused actress Iyabo Ojo of coordinating a private group chat meant to hinder investigations and public calls for justice over Mohbad’s death. He claimed Jigan and other well-known figures were among those involved.
In a TikTok live session, Jigan responded to the accusations and made it clear he would not entertain calls to share any chat records.
“If you like, listen to my explanation, so fine. Do I even owe you an explanation? No! As long as my conscience is so pure; that’s what matters,” he said.
He later took to Instagram to further express his frustration, suggesting that the public had quickly forgotten to demand evidence behind Verydarkman’s claims.
