Nigerian Afrobeats singer, Jaywon, has spoken out against people trying to create tension between him and fellow artists Davido and Wizkid.
The singer addressed claims suggesting he has picked a side in the ongoing feud between Wizkid and Davido. In a video shared on his official TikTok page, Jaywon expressed his frustration over the assumption that his friendship with Davido means he is against Wizkid.
Jaywon said, “So because I’m close to Davido that has automatically made me an enemy of Wizkid? Please make it make sense. Make me understand this. I don’t get it.”
The ‘This Year’ hitmaker made it clear that having a good relationship with one artist does not mean he is in conflict with another. He urged fans and critics to stop creating unnecessary division among artists in the industry.
