Solomon Buchi Congratulates Toke Makinwa but Criticizes Linking Pregnancy to Jesus
Nigerian commentator Solomon Buchi congratulated Toke Makinwa on her pregnancy but raised biblical concerns.
He cautioned Christians against spiritualizing childbirth outside marriage, saying it contradicts God’s standard.
Nigerian commentator Solomon Buchi has congratulated Toke Makinwa on her pregnancy but cautioned against linking her announcement to faith, saying it conflicts with biblical teachings on marriage.
In a video shared on Instagram, Buchi admitted he was glad for Toke, especially as she is almost 40 and has openly desired motherhood. However, he argued that intentionally planning to have a child outside marriage and then attributing it to God does not align with biblical standards.
According to him, Christians must be careful not to use spirituality to justify personal decisions that may not be in line with God’s word.
