VeryDarkMan Accuses Dangote Group of Abandoning Truck Accident Victim
VeryDarkMan accused Dangote Group of neglecting a 22-year-old woman crushed by its truck.
He claimed the victim has spent 11 months in hospital with bills exceeding ₦5 million.
Social media activist Martins Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan, has accused the Dangote Group of abandoning a 22-year-old accident victim who was crushed by one of its truck drivers.
In a post shared on Instagram on Monday, he published a video of the victim lying in Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital, Auchi, Edo State. According to him, the young woman, whose name has not been disclosed, has remained in the hospital for 11 months, with medical bills now exceeding ₦5 million.
The activist explained that he had joined a protest against the movement of Dangote trucks in Auchi, stressing that all victims of such accidents must be taken care of by the company.
As of press time, Dangote Group has not responded to the allegations. The development comes just days after Big Brother Naija Season 7 winner, Phyna Otabor, called out the company after her sister, Ruth, was crushed by a Dangote truck in the same Auchi area. In response, Dangote Group had pledged to cover Ruth’s medical expenses in a statement issued three days ago.
