The Nigeria Police Force has debunked a viral poster claiming Iyabo Ojo is wanted.

The alleged notice, which spread widely across social media platforms, purportedly came from the Inspector General of Police Monitoring Unit. However, the NPF clarified that it never issued such a statement.

Taking to its official Facebook page, the Force described the poster as “false, misleading, and not issued by the Force.”

The statement read: “FAKE NEWS ALERT! This ‘WANTED’ poster of actress Iyabo Ojo did not emanate from the Nigeria Police Force. The claim is false and misleading, and at no point was it published on an official NPF platform.”

The police further urged Nigerians to always confirm sensitive information through verified NPF communication channels to avoid falling for misinformation.

“Verify only from official NPF channels,” the post added.
