Actor Monsuru Ayanfe has recalled crashing Funke Akindele’s car while trying to park it.
He said though she got angry, she later surprised him by apologizing for her reaction.
Nollywood actor Monsuru Ayanfe has shared a personal encounter with popular actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele, recalling the moment he accidentally crashed her car.
During an interview with Jeff Owolewa, Monsuru recounted that the incident occurred when he tried to park Funke Akindele’s newly acquired car after a movie shoot but accidentally damaged it.
He explained, “I was the one who spoiled Funke Akindele’s new car while I was trying to pack her car after the movie set. Funke is someone who gets angry easily, but when she is calm, she apologizes. If she reacts to something someone says, she retraces her steps and apologizes.”
According to him, although Funke initially got angry, she surprised him by apologizing afterward, a gesture he never expected.
The actor also spoke about his early days in the industry and his relationship with actor-filmmaker Femi Adebayo. He recalled that when he began his career, Femi paid him N5,000 out of his own N20,000 salary.
Monsuru recounted that he earned just ₦5,000 from Femi Adebayo at the start of his career, driven solely by his passion and love for acting.
