Armed bandits have abducted a naval officer, his wife, and daughter in Kachia, Kaduna State.
Security forces have launched a manhunt, assuring efforts are underway to rescue the family safely.
A naval officer and his family have been abducted by armed bandits in Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The incident took place in the early hours of Wednesday, August 20, 2025, when gunmen invaded Unguwan Mission in Kachia at about 2 a.m. The attackers reportedly whisked away Seaman Olatunji Enoch, a 40-year-old officer serving with NNSAT Kachia, along with his 25-year-old wife, Margaret, and their 13-year-old daughter, Hellen Bitrus.
Following the abduction, security operatives launched a manhunt for the kidnappers. A cordon-and-search operation is said to be ongoing in nearby forests and communities, with authorities assuring that efforts are focused on rescuing the victims safely and unharmed.
