Davido has revealed he wore cufflinks with his late son Ifeanyi’s portrait during his Miami wedding.

Nigerian Afrobeats star Davido has shared the emotional reason behind wearing cufflinks with the portrait of his late son, Ifeanyi, during his wedding to Chioma in Miami on August 10, 2025.
The couple, who both paid tribute to their son on their big day, found unique ways to keep his memory alive. While Chioma’s bridal bouquet had Ifeanyi’s image pinned to it, Davido revealed that his cufflinks carried the young boy’s portrait.
Speaking with Vogue Weddings, the singer explained that the gesture was deeply personal, serving as a way to ensure Ifeanyi’s presence was felt on their special day.
He explained, “I wore cufflinks with a portrait of our angel, Ifeanyi, as a way to keep him close to our hearts on the most special night of our lives.”
Looking back on the wedding, Davido added, “I felt a deep sense of peace. I married the love of my life, and now I get to wake up next to her for the rest of my days.”
