Lojay Clears the Air on Relationship with Gov. Adeleke’s Daughter, Folashade
Lojay has debunked rumors of a romance with Governor Adeleke’s daughter, Folashade.
The singer clarified she is simply his best friend and part of his close circle.
Nigerian singer Lekan Osifeso Jr., popularly known as Lojay, has addressed ongoing rumors about his alleged romance with Folashade Adeleke, daughter of Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke and cousin to Afrobeats star Davido.

In a recent interview, the Falling crooner firmly dismissed speculations, clarifying that his connection with Folashade is based solely on friendship. He described her as someone who is part of his close circle but stressed there is no romantic involvement between them.
“Fola is literally my best friend. From the very first day I met her, I just knew she was different. She’s the only woman in the 30BG crew, and she holds it down for everybody. Since then, we just clicked and have been good friends ever since,” he said.
Lojay also explained that he is not currently seeking a relationship, noting the importance of taking time to heal and focus on self-growth.
“Unfortunately for me, I’m not ready for a relationship yet. Some people assume that means you’re messing around, but that’s not my reality. Sometimes, people genuinely need time to heal from past experiences, and that’s where I am right now,” he added.
The singer emphasized that while the public may speculate, his decision to remain single is rooted in personal reflection rather than distraction.
