Former Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Gigi Jasmine, has opened up about her experience in the house, highlighting the strategies of her fellow contestants while also reflecting on her own journey.
In a post-eviction interview with Pulse, Gigi described Faith as one of the most calculated players in the competition. She explained that his ability to study personalities and identify weaknesses gave him an advantage, particularly in triggering reactions from housemates.
She said:
“Faith and Imisi are the most manipulative. One thing about Faith, Mandem is smart. Mandem is super duper smart, and I give it to him. Good on you, mate. But not only is he manipulative, he’s calculated. He knows how to break down everyone’s personality, and he knows that one thing that will trigger you, and he’ll be like, duh-duh-duh-duh-duh, and then you’re like, what did you say? Like, it’s frustrating, but he’s good at that.”
Turning to Imisi, Gigi accused her of portraying a fake persona during the show, arguing that some of her reactions seemed staged. She added that Imisi’s intelligence allowed her to adapt quickly and even mimic accents with ease.
She said: “I know you’re very intelligent, because we’ve had conversations, and you’ve been able to mimic my accent and understand everything. It’s not every single time that Biggie calls Imisi, you’re like, yay! No, I know what you’re doing. I clocked it. I clocked it. Imisi has the best strategy yet, and all of her fans that hate me. Mwah. Love you too, baby.”
Despite her criticisms, Gigi admitted that Imisi had one of the strongest strategies in the house. She also reflected on her own time in the competition, admitting that her biggest regret was getting into a relationship, which she felt made her appear naïve to viewers.
