She thanked fans for clarifying the false narrative, insisting she has always remained silent on it.
Afrobeats star Tiwa Savage has cleared the air on long-standing claims that she once trolled her Grammy-winning colleague, Wizkid.
For years, social media users had speculated that Savage took jabs at Wizkid following their alleged fallout. The issue resurfaced recently after a Wizkid fan expressed support for her online, only for another to counter, insisting she had trolled the Starboy boss and did not deserve their backing.
The debate prompted a fan to ask XAI, Grok, whether Tiwa Savage had ever insulted Wizkid. The AI bot responded, stating there was no evidence to support the trolling claims.
Responding to the clarification, Savage wrote: “Thank you o, have never done that. But they have just ran with this narrative and I have just kept quiet.”
It will be recalled that in 2018, Tiwa Savage and Wizkid fueled dating rumors after their chemistry in Wizkid’s Fever music video sparked public speculation. However, both artists later confirmed that they were never in a romantic relationship.
