Abia Police Vow State Will Not Be Safe Haven for Criminals
Abia police chief Danladi Isa has vowed that criminals fleeing raids in other states won’t find refuge in Abia.
He urged residents to report suspicious movements as security agencies tighten vigilance.
The Abia State Commissioner of Police, Danladi Isa, has declared that criminals fleeing security crackdowns in nearby states will not be allowed to find shelter in Abia.

Isa made the remark on Friday during a joint press conference with the governor’s Security Adviser, retired Navy Commander Macdonald Uba, at Governor Alex Otti’s country home in Obingwa. The briefing followed this month’s Security Council Meeting chaired by the governor.
According to the commissioner, the monthly meeting was convened to review the security landscape in the state and to allow agencies compare strategies and share intelligence.
“Our operatives are fully alert to ensure that those escaping law enforcement operations elsewhere do not settle here,” Isa said.
He further appealed to residents to support security efforts by reporting any suspicious activity or movement in their communities.
Both Isa and Uba emphasized that Abia remains peaceful and secure, assuring that the government and security agencies will continue to strengthen existing safety measures across the state.
