2Shotz Opens Up on How Beverly Osu’s Allegation Ruined His Career and Marriage
Nigerian rapper 2Shotz has opened up about a painful past, recalling an allegation that nearly destroyed his reputation.
He revealed the accusation shattered his career, family peace, and personal life completely.
Veteran Nigerian rapper William Orioha, popularly known as 2Shotz, has recounted how an allegation made years ago by actress Beverly Osu negatively affected both his career and personal life.

Speaking in an interview on the Teju Babyface Show, the rapper said Beverly once accused him of assault, a claim he insists was false but one that came with devastating consequences.
According to him, Beverly, who had appeared in one of his music videos, used to visit his home frequently. Their relationship eventually soured, and during a heated argument, his hand “accidentally brushed her face.” Beverly, however, took the incident as physical assault, and the story quickly spread.
2Shotz explained that the fallout from the accusation was enormous, costing him endorsement deals, public respect, and peace within his family.
“I was accused of so many things that I’m not. Everybody tore me apart. I wasn’t getting shows. I wasn’t getting deals. I lost my house. I almost killed myself. I walked into water, and people had to pull me out,” he revealed.
Describing it as one of the darkest periods of his life, the rapper maintained that the incident was misrepresented and stressed that he has never been a violent person.
