Hilda Baci is set for another record-breaking feat as she plans to cook 250 bags of rice.
The celebrity chef will use a 22,619-litre giant pot to feed 10,000 people.
Celebrity chef Hilda Baci has detailed plans to cook 250 bags of basmati rice using a giant pot with a 22,619 litre capacity.
Breaking down the setup, she said the cooking vessel measures 6 meters by 6 meters, is 1.1 meters tall, and about 1.3 meters deep. “I’m making the executive decision to cook 250 bags of basmati rice. The pot is 6 meters wide by 6 meters wide, 1.1 meters tall, and about 1.3 meters deep. I’m sure the pot is not going to sink,” she said.
The large scale cookout, scheduled for September 12, 2025, is designed to serve at least 10,000 people.
Following her 2023 Guinness World Record of cooking for 93 hours and 11 minutes, as the longest individual cooking marathon, Hilda’s current attempt is to cook jollof rice in the largest pot.
