Bracket’s Smash Says P-Square Rift Is Spiritual
Bracket’s Obumneme Ali, popularly called Smash, has described the rift between P-Square’s Peter and Paul Okoye as spiritual.
He revealed Paul acknowledged the conflict was beyond ordinary, deepening conversations about their fallout.
Obumneme Ali, popularly known as Smash from the music duo Bracket, has shared his thoughts on the long-standing rift between Peter and Paul Okoye of P-Square, describing it as spiritual.

Smash made the revelation while appearing on the AFRIMMA Podcast alongside his bandmate, Vast. He explained that although he has a closer bond with Paul, he often visits Peter, who also receives him well.
“I’m closer to Paul than Peter but I always go to Peter’s house and he listens to me whenever I speak to him. But unfortunately, if you ask me as an in-house, I will say that problem is spiritual,” he said.
Smash further disclosed that Paul himself admitted the conflict with his brother was beyond the ordinary. “The last time I met Paul I told him his problem with his brother Peter wasn’t normal that it’s spiritual and he agreed,” he said.
He added that the brothers were once very close, working passionately together with Jude Okoye as part of the P-Square brand, which makes their fallout even more painful to witness.
