The Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) has officially unveiled the fixtures for the 2025 Championship, following the live draw held on Wednesday at the league’s Secretariat in Abuja.
The tournament is set to take place from September 11 to 21 in Abia State, featuring Umuahia and Abiriba as the host venues. A total of 17 clubs will compete in four competitive groups that were drawn during a live-streamed virtual event.
Only the winners of each group will earn a coveted promotion to the NWFL Premiership for the 2025/2026 season at the conclusion of the tournament.
With just four slots available, the stage is set for an intense battle as clubs fight for a place in Nigeria’s top-flight women’s football league.
