Veteran Nollywood actor Chiwetalu Agu has urged his fans not to remain in abusive relationships at the risk of their lives.
In a video shared on his social media page, the actor warned that no relationship is worth dying for, stressing that safety should always come first.
Agu said: “Don’t die to save a relationship, instead kill the relationship to save your life. Love shouldn’t come at the cost of your life.”
The award-winning actor, who bagged the 2012 Nollywood Award for Best Actor in an Indigenous Movie, continues to use his platform to speak on social issues.
