Terry G Says He’s Not Quitting Music Anytime Soon
Terry G has vowed to keep making music forever, refusing to retire or slow down.
The Nigerian singer says he prefers being seen as upcoming, still learning and growing.
Popular Nigerian singer Gabriel Oche Amanyi, known as Terry G, has said he will never stop making music no matter what people say.

He explained that instead of retiring, he would rather be seen as an upcoming artist who is still learning and growing in the industry.
Taking to his X handle, he wrote: “I fully embrace being seen as an upcoming artist. You only become a legend when you retire and I’m never retiring. So if you catch me chasing clout, let me be.”

Terry G first became famous in the 2010s with his street-style hits like “Sangalo,” “Akpako Master,” “Free Madness” and “Run Mad.” Now, he is working on a comeback and has teamed up with Victony for a new song titled “Tanko.”
