Spyro Shares Struggles of Living Out His Christian Faith Amid Fame
Spyro opened up about the struggles of living by his Christian faith while handling fame.
The Nigerian singer revealed turning down lucrative deals and facing criticism to protect his beliefs.
Nigerian singer Spyro has opened up in an emotional post about the difficulties he faces trying to live according to his Christian faith while navigating fame and success.

He explained that it’s easy for people to profess their love for God when they have little, but the true test comes when money and opportunities arrive.
Spyro revealed that over the past two years, as his earnings grew and he gained access to a more luxurious lifestyle, he faced some of his biggest temptations. He said he has turned down endorsement deals worth millions of naira because they conflicted with his beliefs, calling them “Antichrist.”
The singer added that he often funds his shows himself because many brands avoid backing what he describes as “the Jesus brand.”
Spyro also admitted that one of the hardest parts of his journey is facing criticism. Sometimes even from fellow Christians who he expected would support him.
