Veteran Nollywood actor Chiwetalu Agu has addressed false reports claiming he had passed away, assuring fans that he is alive and well.
In a video posted on Instagram on Friday, the actor asked his fans and family to ignore the rumours and report the page spreading the false story.
Agu told his followers to disregard the death claims and stressed that he remains alive and healthy by God’s grace. He also introduced himself in the video and reaffirmed that he is not going to die anytime soon, adding that he still hopes to carry his grandchildren in good health when his children are ready.
He said: “If it were any of the big bloggers who carried the false information, I would have sued them for defamation, economic and business damage but the blogger involved is still struggling with likes.”
