Hilda Baci Sets Guinness World Record for Largest Pot of Jollof Rice
Hilda Baci sets new Guinness World Record with largest pot of jollof rice in Lagos.
The chef cooked 8,780 kilograms at a festival event, thrilling fans and social media followers.
Nigerian celebrity chef Hilda Baci has officially entered the Guinness World Records for cooking the largest pot of jollof rice.

The confirmation came through a post on the official X page of Guinness World Records, which read:
“New record: Largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice – 8,780 kg (19,356 lb 9 oz) achieved by Hilda Baci and Gino in Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria.”
The achievement followed a grand culinary event held on September 12, 2025, at the Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The event, tagged the “Gino World Jollof Festival” , attracted thousands of fans and created a huge buzz on social media.
Hilda Baci first gained global attention in 2023 when she set the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon. With this new achievement, she has cemented her status as one of Nigeria’s most celebrated chefs.
