Tolani Baj revealed she left her US job after realizing Nigeria felt like true home.
She shared how festive trips sparked her decision to return permanently for happiness.
Nigerian reality TV star Tolani Baj has opened up about her decision to quit her job in the United States and move back to Nigeria.
She shared her experience in a post on Snapchat, saying working a regular 9-5 job abroad was something she never enjoyed. Tolani revealed that while living in the US, she would constantly look forward to December just so she could return home to Nigeria for the festive season.
She also said she often thought about leaving her job in America for good and settling permanently in Nigeria, where she felt happier and more at ease.
She wrote:
“I hated working a 9-5 in America so bad. I would spend months counting down to Detty December, God Abeg. My everyday thoughts, I’m happier in Nigeria, should I just quit my job and move there?”.
