Davido Says He Wishes More People Would Ask How He’s Doing
Davido says the question he wishes people asked him more is “How are you?”
He explained that small acts of concern mean more to him than money or gifts.
Afrobeats superstar Davido has opened up about the one question he wishes people would ask him more often “How are you?”

In a recent interview, the award-winning singer revealed that, despite his fame and fortune, he still longs for simple human concern rather than material offers. When asked what question he wished he got asked more, Davido replied: “How’re you? Because you’ll just be stressed out. Just the little things. People just asking you how are you and then having 5 to 10 minutes talks could do a lot. I obviously don’t want your money. Cause I’m up, you know. It’s just the little things that count.”
His response quickly resonated with fans and social media users. Many agreed that fame often attracts people interested in what they can gain rather than offering genuine support.
On X, fans shared their reactions, with some expressing newfound respect for Davido and others reflecting on how simple gestures can make a big difference, especially for those constantly in the public eye.
