Vector Reveals How His Song ‘Early Momo’ Helped a Psychiatric Patient Overcome Depression
Vector Tha Viper says his song ‘Early Momo’ helped a psychiatric patient recover from depression.
He believes true success in music is about its impact on listeners, not just charts.
Nigerian rapper Vector Tha Viper has shared a powerful story about how his music has impacted lives beyond the charts. Speaking on a recent episode of The Honest Bunch podcast, the ‘King Kong’ crooner revealed that his collaboration with Goodgirl LA, ‘Early Momo,’ played a role in helping a psychiatric patient recover from depression.

According to Vector, he received a message from a psychiatric home informing him that a patient who had been struggling with depression listened to ‘Early Momo’ and experienced significant improvement. He said the story reaffirmed his belief that success in music should be measured by its impact on listeners rather than just chart performance.
“I can tell when people are going through tough times because certain records spike on streams. That’s what music should be something people can turn to no matter what they’re facing,” he explained.
Vector added that such feedback defines true success for him as an artist. “That’s a successful moment in somebody else’s life that I didn’t even intend to. So, success has different definitions,” he said.
