Nollywood actress and entrepreneur Nkechi Blessing Sunday has revealed she is open to a new relationship but only with men who meet her financial standard of at least ₦20 million, saying she will no longer spend her own money on any relationship.
In the viral clip from her latest episode of her podcast “Unfiltered with NBS”, Nkechi opened up about her past relationships, revealing she was often the one footing the bills while dating men who were not as established as she was. She said her last relationship ended in October 2024 and that she has been single for almost a year, the longest she’s stayed single.
Nkechi explained that she has never dated a man richer than herself, claiming she even pays for her own trips and vacations. She added that she is now tired of “dating down” and wants a partner who can meet her financially.
Addressing prospective suitors, Nkechi said men should not expect her to spend on them anymore and warned that any man who does not have at least ₦20 million should stay away. She stressed that she is ready to handle herself financially if no one meets her expectations but will no longer lower her standards.
Although she admitted she misses being in a relationship, the actress made it clear that she wants a partner who can match her lifestyle and values.
