Sowore Slams Wike Over Alleged Assassination Remark
Omoyele Sowore slams FCT Minister Nyesom Wike over alleged assassination comment and corruption claims.
He accuses Wike of land grabbing, misrule and says Nigerians tolerate leaders with tainted records.
Human rights campaigner and former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore has launched a blistering attack on the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, accusing him of making a remark suggesting President Bola Tinubu should have ordered his assassination for criticizing the administration.

In a strongly worded post on Thursday, Sowore branded Wike a habitual drinker, land grabber, and corrupt politician, saying his continued prominence shows how complacent Nigerians have become toward misrule.
He wrote that if citizens were more vigilant and less tolerant of misconduct, individuals he described as “criminals and killers” would not be allowed to hold public office. Sowore further alleged that Wike seized land in Abuja, plundered public funds in Rivers State, and was responsible for violent crackdowns in Obigbo adding that such cases belonged at the International Criminal Court in The Hague.
The activist also reiterated his position that President Tinubu lacks the moral standing to govern Nigeria, labelling him corrupt and arguing that the country is under the grip of leaders with tainted reputations.
