Ekuma Jeremiah Iziogo, the traffic hawker who captured national attention in 2022 for giving his roadside earnings to prisoners in a correctional vehicle, has officially graduated as a lawyer.

Popularly known as Jerry Luck, Jeremiah went viral three years ago after a nine-second video showed him handing out cash to inmates, a gesture that touched millions across Nigeria. Reflecting on his journey, he shared an emotional post announcing his graduation and expressing gratitude to the many individuals who supported him.

“Today, a journey that started with little or no hope of crossing the finish line has come to an amazing end,” he wrote. “How the hope crashed and how I started again even in a bigger and better way through the invaluable support of the good people of Nigeria… It was five years of diverse experiences.”
He extended heartfelt thanks to philanthropist Obi Cubana and others, including @iam_hymans, @lush_eby, @winihyc, @rockyemmyphotography, Daddy Freeze, and “hundreds of others” who contributed to his success.
“Thank you for making my dream a reality,” Jeremiah wrote, celebrating his achievement with hashtags #LLB #ebsu2025.
