Cubana Chiefpriest Decries State of Healthcare in Nigeria, Calls It a Joke

Cubana Chiefpriest shared on Instagram that he felt disappointed after visiting a Nigerian hospital.

He said poor staff attitude and weak healthcare forced him to plan his next checkup abroad.

Popular socialite and businessman Pascal Okechukwu, widely known as Cubana Chiefpriest, has voiced his frustration over the state of healthcare in Nigeria. In a candid post shared on Instagram, the nightlife impresario revealed that he is currently unwell and went to a hospital for a checkup, only to be disappointed by what he encountered.

According to Chiefpriest, the attitude of the hospital staff left much to be desired and reflected deeper problems in Nigeria’s healthcare system. He described the entire experience as discouraging and labeled the state of healthcare in the country as “a joke.”

He further disclosed that instead of receiving the medical attention he needed, he ended up only picking up medication from the facility. Chiefpriest added that he now plans to undergo a proper medical checkup abroad, noting that he will wait until his next visit to the UK to get comprehensive care.
