Isaac Fayose accuses 25 Abuja tenants of owing ₦287 million rent while dragging him to court.
He laments Nigeria’s judicial delays, saying prolonged legal battles let defaulters escape accountability.
Businessman Isaac Fayose has opened up about a bitter legal battle with 25 tenants at his Abuja estate, claiming they owe him over ₦287 million in rent but have instead dragged him to court.

In a viral video, Fayose, who is the younger brother of former Ekiti State governor Ayo Fayose, said the tenants, occupying 24 flats and a restaurant in his Wuse Zone 6 estate, accused him of threatening their lives and took him to a Magistrate Court. He alleged they have refused to pay rent for more than three years.
Fayose disclosed that since the case began, he has spent nearly ₦48 million on legal fees across five different courts. He criticized Nigeria’s judicial system, saying constant adjournments have allowed the tenants to avoid paying rent.
