Tinubu Approves 600-Bed Hostel Complex and New Access Road for Nigerian Law School, Abuja

President Bola Tinubu approves a 600-capacity hostel and new access road for the Nigerian Law School Abuja.

The project targets easing accommodation shortages and improving connectivity around the institution.

President Bola Tinubu has sanctioned the construction of a new 600-capacity hostel complex for the Nigerian Law School in Abuja and approved a fresh access road linking the Body of Benchers Secretariat at Jabi District to Nile University.

Tinubu approves

According to a statement issued Tuesday by Lere Olayinka, media aide to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, the President directed the minister to commence the projects immediately under an “emergency consideration” arrangement.

The development will see two hostels built one for male students and the other for female students each accommodating 300 occupants. The initiative aims to address the chronic accommodation shortage at the Abuja campus of the Nigerian Law School.

In addition to the hostels, the new road is expected to decongest traffic along the corridor leading to the headquarters of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and improve connectivity between the Body of Benchers Secretariat and Nile University.
