Singer Qdot Survives Armed Robbery at His Lagos Home
Singer Qdot says he survived a terrifying armed robbery at his Lagos home on September 28.
The attackers stole valuables and accessed his accounts, but he thanked God for sparing his life.
Nigerian singer Qudus Olatunji, popularly known as Qdot, has revealed that he survived an armed robbery attack at his Lagos residence in the early hours of Sunday, September 28.

In a post shared on Instagram, the Emilokan crooner said masked men stormed his home around 2:30 a.m. while he was with his official DJ, DJ FAYA. The robbers reportedly stole laptops, phones, and transferred funds from his bank accounts. They were also believed to have accessed his social media pages.
Qdot described the incident as a life-threatening ordeal.
“On the 28th of September, around 2:00 a.m. I was robbed at gunpoint in my own home, alongside my official DJ (DJ FAYA). It was the most terrifying experience of my life. In that moment, I genuinely didn’t know if I would make it out alive. But by the grace and mercy of God, I’m still here,” he wrote.
The singer added that although the attackers took all his valuables, he is grateful to be alive. “They took everything valuable I owned, down to the last pin. But they didn’t take my life and that alone is a blessing I don’t take for granted,” he said.
Qdot admitted that he remains traumatized but assured his fans that he is safe, surrounded by support, and committed to recovering from the experience. He thanked everyone for their calls and messages, promising to return “stronger and wiser.”
