Pere Egbi Speaks on Faith’s BBNaija Disqualification After Clash With Sultana
Pere Egbi has reacted to Faith’s BBNaija disqualification, saying the clash with Sultana was a “war of ego.”
He said Sultana disrupted the task, while Faith overreacted, turning disagreement into physical conflict.
Former Big Brother Naija star Pere Egbi has weighed in on the clash between Faith and Sultana that led to Faith’s disqualification from the show.

In a detailed post on X, Pere explained that the fight stemmed from a power struggle during a task. He said Faith, who had been working on the task, saw the basket as a symbol of order and resisted Sultana’s attempt to take charge when she arrived late.
“The struggle intensified. Faith yanked the basket fiercely, and Sultana fell. That was the breaking point. It had gone from disagreement to physical conflict,” Pere wrote. He added that both housemates continued pulling at the basket in what he described as a “war of ego.”
According to him, while Faith was wrong to react so strongly, his actions were not unprovoked.
“Yes, Faith crossed a line when he yanked the basket so fiercely it caused Sultana to fall. But his reaction was not unprovoked. Sultana triggered the disruption by arriving late and trying to take the lead without reading the energy in the room,” he said.
Pere argued that the incident was not about gender but about “disruption versus order,” noting that both housemates lacked emotional control.
In his words, “Sultana lit the match, Faith threw it into the basket.”
In a follow-up post, Pere urged viewers to see the disqualification as a lesson rather than the end of Faith’s journey.
“He was disqualified. And so? He’d learn from his mistakes and he’d grow. It’s not the end. It’ll never be. It’s a learning.”
Faith’s removal was announced 2 October, just three days before the grand finale of Season 10 on October 5, bringing the housemates number to 9.
