Tosin Silverdam Insists on 2Baba’s Alleged Arrest Despite Singer’s Denial
Tosin Silverdam has revived rumors of 2Baba’s alleged UK arrest despite the singer’s denial.
He shared a supposed chat as evidence, while 2Baba insists his absence was over his wife’s health.
Nigerian blogger Tosin Silverdam has reignited the controversy around 2Baba’s alleged arrest in the UK, despite the singer publicly debunking the claims.

In a video shared on TikTok, Silverdam displayed a chat he said came from sources close to the organizers of the show 2Baba was scheduled to perform at before rumors of his arrest spread. Part of the chat read: “They just called us now and said the police have released 2Baba.”
Although 2Baba clarified that he was never arrested and explained that a medical emergency involving his wife, Natasha Osawaru, caused his absence from the event, Silverdam insisted that “some of these stories are true; we just have to put ‘allegedly.’ 2Baba was allegedly arrested.”
The blogger further questioned why Natasha, who is pregnant and currently a lawmaker, travelled with her husband to the UK. “But why is she following him up and down? Is she the manager? I thought she was into politics, representing her people,” Silverdam said while laughing.
Earlier reports claimed the African Queen crooner was allegedly arrested after a heated altercation with Natasha, which disrupted his UK performances. However, 2Baba has urged the public not to spread false rumors.
