Governor Dikko Radda has hailed Katsina teachers for their dedication and impact on education.
He pledged continued support through better welfare, training, and digital tools to improve classroom delivery statewide.
Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umar Radda, has praised teachers across the state for their dedication, resilience, and professionalism in shaping the future of education.
The governor’s message was contained in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Mohammed, on Sunday to mark the 2025 World Teachers’ Day celebration.
Radda described teachers as the foundation of educational and national development, noting that their selfless service continues to build a better Katsina and Nigeria. He said the 2025 World Teachers’ Day theme, “Recasting Teaching as a Collaborative Profession,” aligns with his administration’s vision of promoting teamwork and shared responsibility in the education sector.
“Teaching is not a solitary task. It depends on collaboration and mutual support from all stakeholders, educators, parents, communities, and government, to create an environment where children can thrive,” Radda said.
He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting teachers through continuous training, improved welfare, and modern learning infrastructure. He added that digital learning tools and peer collaboration platforms were being introduced to enhance teaching quality and knowledge sharing among educators.
According to him, the state government has made significant investments in teacher recruitment, welfare, and capacity development, reflecting its belief that empowered teachers are essential to quality education delivery.
The governor commended Katsina teachers for their commitment despite the challenges in the education sector. “On behalf of the government and people of Katsina State, I celebrate every teacher today. Your contributions to our society are immeasurable, and we will continue to ensure you receive the recognition, resources, and respect you deserve,” he concluded.
