A new report by veteran Nollywood producer Stanley Ontop has alleged that actor Yul Edochie’s family has distanced themselves from him, accusing the actor of bringing “shame and reproach” to the Edochie household.

According to Ontop, the move comes amid claims that the Nollywood star is allegedly involved in an intimate relationship with another woman whose identity remains undisclosed. The report adds to ongoing speculation about a possible marital crisis between Yul and his second wife, Judy Austin.

The couple, known for their frequent public displays on social media, have recently made headlines following a noticeable change in their online activity. Ontop also claimed that some members of the Edochie family were unhappy about Yul’s recent conduct and his continued controversies.

It would be recalled that Yul Edochie introduced Judy Austin as his second wife on April 27, 2022, a revelation that drew widespread public reaction. His first wife, May Edochie, later filed for divorce in August 2023, demanding ₦100 million in damages from Judy Austin for alleged adultery.

Yul and Judy welcomed their first child together on November 21, 2021.
